Man’s best friend is not a dog.
He is a friend who is closer than a brother — always by his side.
A loyal companion, the only one who remains when everyone else has left.
He listens but does not judge. Only speaks when it’s his turn.
He comes through for all his friends — rich or poor, young or old, master or servant, saint or sinner.
Like a trustworthy friend, he keeps his word — he will visit.
He shows up without fail, like a dependable friend.
As an honest friend, he reminds him of the finiteness of life.
As a true friend, he leans in and whispers, “carpe diem, carpe diem”.
Life is life.
