The puppet is eerily similar to the human
It moves like a human and gestures like a human.
But we know that behind the movements. There are strings, tensions, manipulation and a puppeteer.
Humans would like to believe they move by their own volition. That there is no one pulling the strings.
We would like to believe that there is a ‘me” making choices.
But is that so?
A careful observation will reveal that indeed like the puppet, we are always on stage performing.
And our desires and actions are orchestrated.
The love, the dance, even the rebellion is a choreography instigated by the master.
Beyond the innate biological needs we dance to the tune of an unseen hand.
Culture.
But an even closer look reveals that the human is the one pulling the strings.
