Human beings like to live under illusions
But reality hits different.
Once we come into contact with reality, our illusions are shattered.
But as soon as they are shattered, we stoop down, collect them and patch some more makeshift illusions.
For we are determined to live under these illusions.
But reality is like the sun, it scorches.
It is like gravity, relentless.
Like the wind, it lays bare our illusions.
Like the rain, reality pours.
Like the mountain, it is unflinching.
Like the desert, it is unforgiving.
