Distractions

The human organism cannot sit still.

It must find something to distract itself.

The little baby distracts himself by playing with mother’s breast or sleeping.

The five year old will rarely lack something to distract him, but if he finds himself undistracted, he will go to his mum and ask, mum what should I do?

Of course, an adult never asks the question because by the age of twelve he is already immersed in a world of distraction

If he is not enchanted by the spectacle and mass hysteria around him, he is enthralled by the intoxication of religion or exogenous substances.

Even much of his work is centred around forgetting himself.

For if a man sits with himself for a while.

He will have to confront his reality.

He will have to look at the abyss and realise that he is alone, insignificant, mortal.
