These are jobs where you work year in year out.
But nothing significant happens in your life.
It doesn’t really get worse, neither does it get better.
It’s a stalemate.
Things just remain the same.
Like a treadmill, There’s movement.
But one does not get anywhere.
You find yourself complaining about the boss, the pay, the tea and the toilets.
Frustration, hope and fear are the staple of a man in a dead-end job.
This can go on for decades.
One day you feel like quitting but the next day you feel like you should hang on a little bit.
But as you settle hoping that things will get better, you get fired.
Is this a description of a dead-end job or a dead-end relationship?
The answer is yes.
Life is life
