On Trusting the Process

A human being does not undertand what he does, facing frustration, he resorts to platitudes and feel good phrases.

He does not know the results he seeks, so he falls for the myth of hard work.

He embarks on a journey but does not know his destination.

So he starts to believe in “it’s not about the destination but the journey”.

He does not know the value he draws from his relationships, nor does he know the cost he incurs.

So he drifts towards compromise and self sacrifice.

Because he does not know how long it takes. He resorts to patience.

Because he does not understand how it works. He depends on hope.

He throws everything at the wall, hoping that something sticks.

Indeed, a human being spends his entire life groping in the dark.

And he calls it trusting the process.
