Life will violently shake us off
If we cling to life
A drop of rain will feel like a flood
A thud will feel like thunder
A slight movement feels like an earthquake
A slight disagreement feels like war
Every interaction feels like a battle
Sunrise feels like scorching heat
Darkness like doomsday
A shout like a roar
For life does not adhere to our whims
If we chase life, it will flee
If we flee from life, it will haunt us
If we stretch out our hand to life with expectation, we will receive a slap in the face.
If we ask life of anything, we will receive a kick in the teeth.
